House Rules
The Pauanui Sports and Recreation Club is a members club. All members, guests and visitors attending the club are required to abide by the following rules. The House Rules are intended to make the Club a pleasant environment for members and their guests.

Members must have a fully paid subscription for the current membership year. They should carry their membership card as identification whenever they are in the Club. Bar & Dining discounts will only be given to members and on presentation of their membership card.

Members may bring or sponsor guests into the Club on the following basis:
All guests must be correctly signed into the visitor's book by name by the member and carry the guest pass with them whilst in the Club.
The member must be present in the Club for the full duration of their guest's visit. Should the member need to leave the Club before the guest, another member is required to assume responsibility for the guest and countersign the visitors book
The member must ensure the guest is aware of and complies with the Club's house rules.
No person can be signed in as a guest more than 3 times in each Club year.

Visitors who are members of another New Zealand Golf or Bowls Club and have paid fees in a Golf or Bowls event at the Club are invited to enjoy the Club's facilities. Visitors must sign the visitor's book, identifying the home Club where they are a member, and producing their home Club Membership card as proof of ID prior to signing the Visitors Book.

Bar Licence hours must apply at all times. The Bar Manager, or Duty Manager have the right to close the bar earlier than these times should they see fit to do so.

A reasonable standard of dress is required at all times. No Beachwear is allowed. Singlets and Jandals may be worn up to 7pm during day light saving, 6pm outside of Daylight saving. NO bare feet, gumboots, work boots, golf shoes (with or without sprigs) are permitted in the Clubhouse. Footwear must be clean.

A respectable standard of behaviour and conduct is expected of all members, guests and visitors attending the Club. Any violence, foul language, harassment, abuse or bad behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the member guest or visitor being asked to leave the Club. Repeated bad behaviour may result in the member, guest or visitor being suspended from the Club.

Members are requested to return all used glassware to the table at the side of the Bar prior to vacating the Club.

Children under the age of 12 years old are not permitted to play on the snooker or pool tables. Rules governing play must be strictly adhered to.

Only persons aged 18 Years and Over are permitted in the Gaming Lounge at all times.
The Club Manager, and the Duty Manager may exercise powers as per the Sale of Liquor Act and Standard Additional Conditions of the Club Liquor Licence.
